Ometepe Island, Nicaragua

3 Days / 2 Nights

Concepcion Volcano, Ometepe, NicaraguaIn Nahuatl Indian language, 'Ometepe' means 'Born from two volcanoes'. Ometepe, the biggest volcanic island in the world situated in fresh-waters, is well known for indigenous legends, culture and traditions. During your stay on Ometepe, watched over by those two volcanic guards, Concepción (1,610 mts) and Maderas (1,345 mts), you will participate in the tranquil life of the Island. Traversing the island will give us the opportunity to become immersed in the daily life of the locals, enjoying the tropical dry forest surroundings, a refreshing swim in the lake waters or just relaxing by the beach in one of the numerous hammocks.
