An extension from Panama City
3 Days / 2 nights
Pick up at your Panama City hotel for an escorted transfer to the Albrook Municipal Airport for a 25-minute flight to the Archipelago of San Blas, where the islands are governed by the Kuna Indians. On arrival, meet your local host and proceed to one of the island lodges, your home for the next two days. While in San Blas all meals are included. Most of the day is spent at leisure observing the Kuna culture, swimming, snorkeling or relaxing on beautiful white sand beaches.
Another full day at leisure enjoying the island or visiting with the friendly Kunas.
At the appropriate time, transfer to the local airstrip for your return flight to Panama City.

Depart from your Panama City hotel to the domestic airport for your flight to Isla Colon, the main island of the Bocas del Toro Archipelago. Upon arrival, our local host will assist you with luggage and provide you with transportation to the Laguna Hotel or the Swam Cay Hotel in this small island community, which was first visited by Christopher Columbus on October 5, 1502. In 1745, English pirates successfully set up a base here to trade in live turtles, sarsaparilla, tortoise shell and mahogany. By 1890 the pirates were gone and a flourishing banana plantation business began. Today, the nine islands and 251 cays that form the archipelago are a haven for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. The crystal clear waters and the absence of currents and dangerous fish provide the perfect setting for a wonderful vacation.
Days at leisure enjoying the island. Your local host can arrange for optional diving, snorkeling or kayaking expeditions. Bike rentals and boat trips to nearby Mangrove Forest are also available. The days are yours to enjoy!

An extension from Panama City
One of our local drivers will pick you up at your Panama City hotel for a 2-hour drive to the Old Caribbean port city of Portobelo, once the site of the region’s most important commerce fair during the Spanish colonial era. Tour the Old Customs Building, and the ancient church, then onto the coastal village of Balboa, where you will board a local boat for a very short crossing to Isla Grande, this forested island seems like a mirage rising out of the blue waters, and your hotel, the "All Inclusive" Banana’s Village Resort is right in the middle of everything! All your meals, drinks, tips, taxes, and use of all non-motorized water toys are included. Enjoy!
