Sat on the edge of San Pedro de Atacama, a little oasis town huddled around the riverbed of San Pedro River, AWASI LODGE is no ordinary hosteria. The Inn comprises of only 8 cabins, which ensures an intimate and private atmosphere to make each guest feel at home. The circular, thatch-roofed cabins are constructed in the local style with traditional materials, tastefully furnished for comfort and style, each with its own spacious bathroom and private patio where you can relax in privacy. Excursion options

Excursions options include car tours to highland salt lakes, visits to quaint Andean villages, surprising caves and canyons or to the Valley of the Moon. Hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding tours are also available. Each excursion will be adjusted to the interest and fitness level of the participants. Most excursions are not physically demanding, but some visit high altitude regions. Thus, guests are advised not to choose such excursions on the first day, unless they are already accustomed to the high altitude.
