This short 3 day/2 night itinerary takes an incredibly scenic excursion from Petrohue in the Chilean Lake District, to Bariloche, the famous mountain resort in Argentina. The journey crosses the Andes by boat and bus, through some of the most beautiful scenery of the Chilean and Argentinean Lake District.

Day 1: Puerto Montt- Puerto Varas

Arrival at Puerto Montt Airport, directly followed by a short city tour of Puerto Montt; a transfer will then take us to Puerto Varas, also known as the "City of Roses", located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, Chile's second largest lake, with the volcanoes Osorno and Calbuco reflected on the crystal clear waters. Overnight in Puerto Varas.

Day 2: Puerto Varas – Peulla

In the morning we will depart from the hotel and drive along the shoreline of Lake Llanquihue to Petrohué in the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park. A short stop to look at the famous Petrohué Falls is optional. Once in Petrohué, we will board the catamaran to navigate across Lake Todos los Santos to Peulla, enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding mountains on the way. We will have time for optional tours at the Hotel Peulla and/or a walk to the nearby waterfalls. Overnight in Peulla. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Peulla - Bariloche

Departure by bus to Puerto Frías, Chilean Customs Point We will cross the Andes Mountain range at approx. 976 meters above sea level and continue down the winding road that leads to Puerto Frías. We will cross Lake Frías to Puerto Alegre. We will see Puerto Blest and visit Cántaros Falls. We will then depart from Puerto Blest on the last cruise to Puerto Pañuelo. Upon arrival, board the bus that will take us on the last stretch to Bariloche, Argentina; a city that beckons tourist all-year round with its wide variety of ski resorts, shops, hotels, restaurants and a thriving nightlife. • Program includes: 2 overnights in Pto Varas with breakfast, 1 overnight with full board at hotel Natura in Peulla. Private transfers and excursions with driver and bilingual guide. Entrance fees.

• Please note: Tour on days 2 and 3 is in SIB/English guide. Transfer to hotel in Bariloche day 2 and all services on day 4 private without guide.
• Please notice: In winter border crossing on day 4 depends on weather conditions; it may be closed because of excessive snowfall.
