Inkaterra Machu Picchu can be either a quiet retreat for the mind and body or a base for
numerous excursions. The hotel offers 14 varied excursions covering a range of three
intensity levels. Some ideal for children, while others involve significant exertion, such as a
full-day hike on the Inca trail. All excursions are guided by trainerd Interpreters, who also
provide basic equipment and snacks, as needed. Each visitor can arrange, with the
interpreters, an individual schedule upon arrival according to their itineraries, time and
desired activity level. We recommend the following basic itinerary for a three-day visit. Each
activity can be substituted by various others of the same duration. Some excursions require
pre-booking and additional payments.
